Plum Blossoms (Mizuki X Reader) //Oneshot

It was the early spring, and you decided to take a walk through the park to see the plum blossoms. Your (h/c) hair blowing gently in the wind. The sun was bright so you shaded your sparkling (e/c) eyes with your hand; birds chirping and childrens laughter filled the air. Suddenly a flash of white passed in front of a group kids and they screamed; "SNAKE..!". You walked over and saw a white snake and picked it up, the kids squealed because you touched it, but thanked you and ran to play somewhere else. "What are you doing here..?" you asked the snake then setting it down, and you continued your walk home.

You were now at home and like normal "Alone.." you sighed and started to make dinner for yourself. "No ones home again.. I wonder if they'll eat before they come home..? Maybe I should make a little extra.." You were making ramen, from scratch be cause you though it tasted better freshly made. When it was finished you turned on the T.V. and got yourself a bowl. "Thanks for the food." you said but there was a knock at the door. "Who could..?" you got up and went to the door and opened it. "Hello~!" A man, well not really a man but an older teen you thought, stood in front of you. White.. His hair, and eyelashes pure white.. Like freshly fallen snow. "Um.. hello..?" You said in return. "I never thanked you..." He said to you but  you looked at him confused. "I'm sorry but I've never seen you before, maybe you are mistaking me for someone else..?" You said shaking your head. He looked at you and smiled. "Its you I'm sure of it. You saved me from those kids.." He said and nodded. "..? The snake..!" you gasped. "But I saved a snake and your a...!" You pointed at him in disbelief. "May I step in..?" He asked.

You let him in and made your way to the living room, letting him followed behind you. "I never asked you for your name.. What is it?" You asked sitting near your bowl of ramen. "Its Mizuki.. Nice to meet you..?" "Oh..! Sorry, Im (name). Nice too meet you as well." you said eyeing the bowl when your stomach growled. "So-Sorry.." You said your cheeks turning a light pinks. 'How embarrassing..!' You thought; "I'm sorry. It seems I inter-" His stomach growled like yours, and right in the middle of his sentence. "You you like a bowl..?" You asked getting up with yours. He nodded "Yes please." From in the kitchen you could hear him laugh at whatever was on. When you returned he was playing with the remote flipping through channels. "Here you go." You set the bowl in front of him on the table, then sat yours down. "Thanks for the food." you said he nodded, "Thanks." the both of you began to eat. "So how are you the snake i saved earlier..?" you asked trying not to sound rude. he didn't seem to mind; "Well Im a white snake shikigami. Im also a shinshi at a shrine." He said as if there was nothing strange about it in the slightest. "A shikigami..? And a shinshi?"  You looked at him puzzled. "Yes I am a shikigami and shinshi." He said taking a chopstick full of noodles. "How..?" You asked but then realized he wasn't paying attention, and you were to tired to ask anymore questions.He finished his bowl before you. "Thanks for feeding me." He said with a smile and your cheeks turned pink again."No problem." you said taking a sip of the broth left in your bowl. "It was good.." He said. You got up and took yours and his bowl to the kitchen. 'So much for extras..' You thought.

When you finished the dishes and cleaned the kitchen you walked out to the living room and saw Mizuki sound asleep with his head on the table. 'He looks... Cute asleep like that..' you thought a faint smile along with a darkening blush finding its way onto your face. "Aah..!" You squealed. Mizuki looked up at you with sleepy eyes, "Huh..?" He said after yawning. "No its nothing..!" You said shaking your head slightly. "Im  tired so I'll be going." Mizuki said getting up and walking to you; he kissed your cheek and thanked you again for the food. "Lets meet up again tomorrow the same time we did today when you saved me.. Under the plum blossoms, okay?" He looked at you with a smile that made your heart skip a beat or two. You nodded, "Okay.." You said walking him to the door. "See you then (name).. Its a date." He winked and left. You smiled and walked back to the living room then looking at the clock, 'This late already..?!' you rushed to your school bag and took out the work you had to finish. 'A date.. Tomorrow..' you thought and began to smile again your face heating up. "Aah..!" You squealed and finished your work. 'I can't wait till tomorrow..' you thought and the feel asleep.
